If you want to make progress in the gym, try to record everything you do. You may think you remember where you started from with regards to the number of reps, weights etc but believe me it’s easy to both under and over exaggerate numbers to make yourself feel like you are getting where you want to be.

Writing down not only your exercises but also the order that you are doing them, whether your form was perfect or slightly a miss by the end of a set to the point you had to pull a few cheat reps, how you felt, maybe you felt like you could of added more weight. It all adds up to correctly analysing your workouts and whether you are actually making progress.

Take your pen and paper with you and make the most of the rest you have between sets, especially when training strength!!
