Hi, I am Joe. I currently PT from Snap Fitness Beccles, co-run the bootcamps and I have a healthy obsession with anything fitness related. I absolutely love my job!
I have been in the industry for 9 years and I have helped so many people achieve their goals. I draw on my own experiences and ability to push myself to recognise the signs of real hard work and dedication and help ease more of that out of individuals. I found my own limits with time spent serving as a Royal Marine Commando which, to date, still represents some of the most physically and mentally demanding times of my life.
Prior to joining the military I found that my now ‘healthy obsession’ with training wasn’t always ‘healthy’. I had a poor relationship with my food and training. I would heavily over train and I would make myself sick if I felt too bloated to train. The combination of these two left me obsessed with results and how I progressed. I can identify this quite easily in other people and I understand and try to plan around the pitfalls that we can run into when training for both low and high priority/difficulty goals.
I believe a combination of these experiences and my ability to dedicate myself to client results has left me in a unique situation to help so many people struggling with so many aspects of their health and fitness. I try to encourage and guide where possible but the real work still has to come from you!
Major achievements to date:
- Get my green beret.
- Half marathon in 1hr33min
- Bench press 170kg
- Completed the national 3 peaks
