Personal Training

Who benefits from 1-2-1 personal training?

  • Beginners wanting to make a start in changing their body and don’t know where or how to do so. Sometimes just wanting a confidence boost in knowing what they are doing is correct but also to help prevent injury and create perfect form.
  • Intermediate trainers wanting to take their training to the next level. They have a good basic understanding of training and the movements but suffer with certain injuries, specific more complex movements or they haven’t yet seen the results they want. Often have a keen interest in the science behind the training too.
  • Experts often have a full understanding of progress and the exercises but are still unfamiliar with programming themselves. They may have specialised in a certain area such as Olympic or powerlifting and they need the tools in their exercise vocabulary to take them to the next stage, in whatever capacity. Training is intense but generally adhered to religiously. Benefits a lot from objective programming
  • Elite athletes often require their trade to be perfected and they require instant and continued  feedback. They need perfect programming with continued progress to make it to the top of their chosen discipline. They tend to live for their training, sit in the top 5% of fitness enthusiasts and also require a coach or personal trainer with well above average skills.

1-2-1 Personal training is supposed to fit around you and is ideal for people at any stage of their training just choose your personal trainer wisely. Don’t be put off by whatever status you feel you need to be at to start or continue. A good personal trainer/coach will make the training perfect for you and always at your level.

Personal Training Pricing

*The pricing options available all include:

  1. Sessions with your chosen personal trainer at a certain location.
  2. Monitored, progressive overload at the pace required for you to efficiently achieve your goals.
  3. PERSONALISED programs written for the session but also for exercises that you can do at on your own between your 1-2-1 sessions.
  4. Continued support between sessions so full understanding and longer term autonomy can be achieved.
  5. Access to the Delta Fitness PT private Facebook group where a supportive group has been developed from like minded individuals.
  6. Continued reviews of progress to ensure you are heading in the right direction.
Initial Consultation: Free (30mins)

This involves getting to know you, your desired results and what you hope to gain from a personalised training experience. This is your chance to ask any questions and let us know, in as much detail as you can, what you want to achieve both in the short and long term. This is also our chance to make you feel as comfortable as possible with the how’s, when’s and why’s etc. Medical history, previous training experience and anything else that may be relevant is also discussed.

One Off/Ad-Hoc Sessions: £40 per hour*

If you want to keep your flexibility and receive a personal training session as and when you require it then this is just right for you. We will come to your home, meet you in the gym, or just go to a local outdoor area, whichever suits you and your goals best. Programs are planned so that we can train together as often as is needed but also, when you feel comfortable to do so, you train on your own.

Prepaid Session Package (5 hours): £37.50 per hour*

This package is for those that want to pre-pay for 5 hour long PT sessions. Perhaps you feel as though you want to take your training more seriously by booking 5 sessions in advance to really kick start the journey towards your goals. Maybe you anticipate your goal will take a little longer to achieve or maybe you know you would like to understand more than what is achievable in 1 hour. As always, we will be on hand to answer any questions in between sessions with a program that is designed solely for your needs with regards to frequency, intensity and duration for continued progress.

 

Prepaid Session Package (10 hours): £35per hour* 

Maybe you have a big social event coming up that you really want to shed some pounds for? Or even a sports event and you want to bring your times down or weights up? Maybe you just want to gain a comprehensive understanding of the gym and how it all works while continually being held accountable and keep track of your ongoing progress. Booking 10 sessions in advance will really show yourself that you are committed to reaching your target. Consistency of training tends to remain higher with this option. As always, we will be on hand throughout and between sessions to help. Training between sessions on your own, once again, can be planned into this so your 10 sessions can last even longer.

Additional Clients in the Session: £10 extra per hour

Want to train with a friend as well as split the cost? Training with someone can also sometimes be that confidence boost some people need to get them through the door each time. No problem, each additional person that joins in your 1-2-1 session can join in too for just an extra £10. Both clients will receive the same ongoing benefits of personal training with Delta Fitness as listed above.

 

Training can be conducted at the clients home, in a gym or in a suitable location locally.
